Maple Leaf Parade Photos
Thanks to Angela Covington and Richard & Christie Graves, we now have
New photos of that parade... Click here to view!

The biggest parade in SW Missouri, and the best turnout of Ron Paul supporters
from Meetup groups all over the Ozarks! It really made a strong and positive impression
on the parade-watchers.

So far we've participated in SEVERAL parades all across rural southwest Missouri...
Wheaton, Missouri 4th of July Parade:

Though our parade "float" isn't anything more creative than a pickup with banners, signs, and flags, it still gets attention and has the crowd wondering who Ron Paul actually is...

The Fairview, Missouri Parade (July 21st, 2007):

Of course, we always follow up with a team of volunteers handing out Ron Paul information flyers, which most all of the parade watchers eagerly accept.

We've handed out hundreds of flyers this way, and we've made new friends... (And some brand new Ron Paul supporters!)
We encourage all Ron Paul supporters & Meetup groups to TRY THIS at your local parades:
You'll be surprised how effective this can be at introducing people to Ron Paul

Ron Paul in Kansas City
A group of a half-dozen local S.W. Missouri voters made the long trip to K.C. and all report that it was well worth the effort!
A crowd begins to gather a couple of hours before the doors open.
It is interesting to note that this was a spontaneous and genuinely "grassroots" happening...
It was not planned by the Ron Paul campaign. People did it all without prompting or guidance!

A half-dozen McDonald county-area Ron Paul supporters, plus a lady that drove all the way from Tulsa!
A lot of traffic went by in the 2 hours before the event when we had time to show our support to the K.C. commuters on busy Broadway street.
I'm thrilled to say that we got HUNDREDS of cheers, honks of support, thumbs-up and other positive signs of support from the diverse passersby!
(And only 2 negative responses... That's a real good average!)

Ron Paul speaking before a full house of approx. 800 at the Kansas City Uptown theater.
The 30+ minute speech was superb, and I encourage everyone to watch it by clicking on this link:

Ron Paul during an unscheduled Question & Answer encore session, about 30 minutes after the main address.
It was wonderful to see that he actually gave good and direct answers to all the questions put before him! Amazing!
Imagine that... A politician giving real answers to real questions (and not just the easy or favorable ones, either).
We get so used to seeing all the other candidates putting "spin" on tough questions, rarely actually answering any
of the questions at all, and just redirecting their answers to say whatever pre-rehearsed sound bite they want.
Ron Paul Is FAR Better Than All The Rest!

McDonald county-area Ron Paul supporters packing up after the event.
As we were waiting, because there was...

A long line of Ron Paul supporters queued up to purchase yard signs, bumper stickers, and other
Ron Paul campaign gear being offered from a private individual vendor in the parking lot outside the theater.
A couple of us managed to get through the line and buy some signs and stickers before they ran out...
If you will support Ron Paul by putting a sing in your yard or a sticker on your vehicles,
please contact us or come to one of our local Ron Paul Meetup events!
This page contains just a few select photos that we've highlighted.
