Ozark Property Rights Congress

In these troubling days, we suffer under a centralized government that is completely out of touch with the people they are supposed to represent.  This distant and unresponsive government obviously owes its allegiance and position to the multi-national corporations and the special interest groups, not to us.

As globalism transitions from global to local,
we must become Vocal Local
to block the implementation of globalist programmes,
right where we are!

  • First: Educate yourself and learn why private property rights are important to you, and to all freedom and liberty-loving Americans.
  • Next: Get Vocal Local! Make your voice heard with your neighbors, co-workers, newspapers, local government officials, and everyone else you can reach.
  • A great way to help acheive both of these important goals is to take part in your local Property Rights organization.

Whereas it has long been known and declared that the poor have no right to the property of the rich, I wish it also to be known and declared that the rich have no right to the property of the poor.
– John Ruskin

Ozark Property Rights Congress
Mission Statement

America's founding fathers understood that without the individual's right to own and control property, no other rights could be protected from government tyranny. Indeed, homes, personal possessions, personal safety, unrestricted travel and free speech are all placed in jeopardy once government has established the power to control or confiscate private property through general edict. Property rights are the very foundation of a free society.

Today, in the United States, property rights have come under attack from a wide variety of state, federal and international programs, treaties and regulations. Both individual landowners and private businesses have come under increased pressure as governments on all levels seek to enforce central planning for land use and development. Such regulations have limited productive use and access to property, thereby diminishing property values, along with the hopes, dreams and constitutional rights of property owners nationwide.

With equal vigor, the Property Rights Congress seeks to protect private interests in public land, including access, and resource use. In the firm belief that "public land" is not the property of the federal government, but, indeed, the property of the people of America, we promote a public land management program that involves local citizens, requires participation of local and state elected officials, and ultimately controlled by elected members of Congress - rather than the agencies of the Executive branch of government.

The mission of the Property Rights Congress, a coalition of advocate and educational groups and individuals, is to educate and provide information to the American public as to the roots and nature of such property rights violations; expose those actions that will further damage the American right to private property ownership and control; and advocate appropriate action to protect property rights.

To these ends the Property Rights Congress will develop a number of programs, conferences and publications designed to enhance the American public's awareness of efforts by government and individuals to usurp or damage constitutionally-guaranteed property rights.
When advocating its positions, in all cases, the Property Rights Congress will strongly advocate private property ownership over state-controlled collective land use.

(This is a slightly updated version of the original Mission Statement used by the founding body of the Ozark Property Rights Congress -- Russel Woods, president.)

From their website: "Our Primary Concern are the Protecting Agriculture and Rural Areas Task Force (PARA) recommendations presented to the Quorum Court Oct 2005.

Please note a good portion of the PARA Task Force report: Issues Identified, PARA Task Force Goals, Growth Management Techniques, and Appendix G Recommendations come from the United Nations Agenda 21 Document.

Agenda 21 is a worldwide effort to move property out of the hands of individuals to centralized control. Many excuses and justifications are are put forth as to why individual property ownership must be eliminated. Implementation of Agenda 21 has been slow going in the United States but it is being pushed on several fronts."

And more...

It is important to realize that we must be vigilant in monitoring the activities of our elected representatives; to ensure that they are keeping their promises, and are acting in our best interests.

Likewise, it is necessary to research potential candidates, and find out their views and intentions as they relate to the most important issues we face.

In the future, we will be publishing a "Scorecard and Voter's Guide" for several counties in the Ozarks region of Missouri and Arkansas, that will rate what local incumbent public servants have done during their previous terms, and also where potential candidates claim they stand on those same issues.

Please help spread the word about our efforts here, so more people can make better informed decisions when electing those that will represent them and serve the public. Though it is every citizen's RIGHT to vote, it is also every voter's DUTY to make informed decisions..Otherwise,  democracy crumbles into mob rule, and politicians with the most money and smoothest lies take control. We've seen too much of this already, and it must not continue...

Time is running short!

About OzarksVoter.info

This site is operated by a group of people who are not affiliated with any political party or lobbying group. We seek to enhance voter knowledge so our friends and neighbors in the Ozarks can make informed decisions on the most important issues and elections that affect us today. You too can be a part of this effort!
